Stolway selected to deliver climate control systems for Oman LNG’s Qalhat facility.

Stolway has secured a contract to supply custom-designed ATEX certified Fan-Coil Units, Air-Cooled Condensing Units and Air-Cooled Packaged Units for use at the Oman LNG plant on the coast at Qalhat near Sur, in Oman’s South Sharqiyah Governorate.

The custom engineered unit’s will be built at Stolway’s head office facility in Wollongong, NSW Australia. Once complete, the units will be integrated into the Electro-Chlorination and Battery Buildings at the Oman LNG site.

The high specification units’s are custom-built to OLNG’s specific requirements and the extreme operating conditions of the Arabian Gulf onshore environment. 

Key design features of the units are: 

• ATEX certified 
• Various hazardous area ratings from Zone 1 IIC T3, Zone 2 IIA T3 and Safe Area
• 43 deg C. design ambient.
